myPotential at Home–A National Lutheran Service is pleased to announce April Catterton, RN, BSN has been named health care administrator for the Winchester based home care agency.
Catterton brings over 30 years’ of experience throughout the continuum of care for older adults. In her role as administrator, Catterton will oversee the day-to-day operations and growth of myPotential at Home, adding to the quality of care for older adults throughout the Shenandoah Valley.
Catterton says, “As a nurse, my passion has always been my clients. I really enjoy figuring out ways to improve efficiencies and productivity of my team, while not comprising the quality of care or customer satisfaction.”
myPotential at Home opened in 2014 as a service for Rockville, Maryland-based National Lutheran Communities & Services (NLCS). NLCS’ Chief Operating Officer, Cyndi Walters says, “We are overjoyed to have April on board at myPotential at Home. We already have a great team in place, but with April’s assistance, we can work on improving our processes, and ultimately providing care to more older adults in Winchester and the surrounding areas.”
Catterton holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from George Mason University and has multiple professional licenses including a Board Certified Nursing Administrator certification, as well as a Professional in Healthcare Quality certification. Additionally, Catterton has a widespread understanding of health care challenges and providing quality care across the continuum of care. Catterton has a specific passion for older adults and the aging in place concept. Her passion is improving upon processes for increased efficiency without compromising quality of care or customer satisfaction.
