The Legacy’s Crafty Angels club has been busy crafting handmade stuffed animals for the Staunton Rescue Squad, where they will comfort children in need.
We celebrated Assisted Living Week with fun activities with our residents, team members and families, themed outfits, and heartfelt appreciation for the community that makes The Legacy so special.
The Legacy team proudly joined residents, families and team members for a meaningful Walk to End Alzheimer’s, uniting in hope and determination to help advance awareness and research.
Executive Director Denise Kozlowski, RN MSN, joined by Legacy Hospice RNs Pam and Rachel, led a thoughtful wellness discussion with residents on hospice services and care options.
In October, assisted living residents had a blast handing out treats and enjoying the festive costumes as St. John’s Preschool kids brought Halloween cheer on a fun-filled trick-or-treating visit!
Our community proudly gathered to watch the Veterans Day Parade pass by, a moving tribute to the courage and sacrifice of those who have served.
In November, The Legacy’s Family Brunch started the holiday season with residents, families and team members sharing a joyful morning of food and Chef Chris’s delicious creations.
In December, we hosted a joyful celebration of the season with residents, families and friends at our Holiday Open House with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
