It takes a lot for an organization to succeed generation after generation. For more than 130 years, NLCS has remained true to our mission of service, been careful stewards of our resources, and enjoyed support from caring individuals who want to make an impact in the lives of older adults.
We invite you to help us carry on the tradition with a legacy gift to our organization. We work hard every day to reimagine aging and to empower older adults with a sense of purpose and the freedom to choose how they want to live.
Support the mission of NLCS with a gift to one of our community impact funds. You may give directly to one of our retirement communities, one of our programs, or to a general endowment fund. Learn more below.
This fund is a long-term, sustainable source of funding for residents living within a National Lutheran community. The NLCS Benevolent Endowment Fund supports supplemental financial assistance to our communities whose own endowments don’t fully cover qualified residents’ benevolent needs.
Created in 2021 in honor of Larry Bradshaw, who served as president and chief executive officer of NLCS for more than 12 years, the Bradshaw Emerging Leaders Program provides funding for the development of future leaders in the aging services health care industry with an immediate impact of leadership capital within the NLCS organization.
